Rout bench dog holes with only a simple, three-piece template
Craft a sturdy (and attractive) series of drawers with hand-cut, half-blind dovetails

Part 1: In this video Phil kicks off the workbench by assembling the carcass for the lower cabinet with a combination of construction lumber and plywood.

Part 2: With the carcass for the base completed, Phil sets his sights on the case for the drawers, filling out the interior of this bench.

Part 3: Dovetails are the name of the game when it comes to the drawers. Here you'll learn how to make eye-catching and functional half-blind dovetails.

Part 4: The final piece of this workbench is the top. Watch as Phil uses white fir to build a strong, stable, and flat top to this project.
